Private, company work
OrgzStack is a multi-tenant HR platform: employee records, attendance, shifts, leave, payroll, approvals, a helpdesk and live location for field staff. It is built by a team and it is my employer’s product, so I will keep this page to what I actually did rather than describing the whole system.
I am one of the main contributors on the web app and the core API, working with the rest of the team. Separately, there are three pieces I built and own on my own: the realtime and notification service, the internal admin console and the monitoring setup.
The product, in five steps.
Employee-facing screens, backend modules, database migrations, code reviews, releases and the occasional production fire. Normal team work, and I do a lot of it.
The realtime service handles presence, in-app notifications, push and email, and the signalling for calls. The internal console is what our own team uses to support customer organisations. The monitoring setup is eleven dashboards I put together so we can see how the service is behaving without guessing.
The part I am most pleased with is the field-staff location tracking. Positions are held in memory instead of hitting the database on every ping, jitter from cheap phones is ignored, and out-of-range alerts have cooldowns so someone standing on a boundary doesn’t page their manager twenty times.
Private company product. No demo or source here, and I only describe my own part of it.
Numbers on this page are as of September 2026.I can’t share access to this one since it is company work, but I am glad to talk through the pieces I owned and the decisions behind them.
